Using your Uberleben Pro 3/8 Zunden Advanced Fire Starter is a breeze. Just hold the scraper with the lanyard in one hand and the fire starter in the other. Scrape the scraper along the ferrocerium rod, and you'll get those 5,500°F molten spark showers to start your fire. It works great in all weather, even wet conditions. When it comes to maintenance, keep it dry as much as possible. The wood - composite handle doesn't need special treatment, but avoid leaving it in extreme humidity for long.
