Using this fire starter is super easy. First, fluff the end of the wick. Then, use a ferro rod to create a spark and light it up. You can move the flame around as you want. Remember, it can burn for about an hour. If you need more oxygen for your fire, just pull out the wick and blow into it like a little bellow. As for maintenance, keep it dry since it's weatherproof but moisture can still affect it. Store it in the tinplate slider box when not in use to protect the wick. And if you're using the 3 - Wick Refill Packs, note that they don't come with the box. Handle the anodized aluminum sleeve with care as it helps keep the device cool to the touch.
