Zero Stretch Single Elasticated Lanyard with Scaffold Hooks

An indispensable part of any height safety kit, this elasticated webbing lanyard comes with scaffold hooks at both ends. It has a total extended length of 2 meters. The inner elastic reduces slack, eliminating potential trip hazards. In case of a fall, the shock absorber tears to absorb energy. It's a standard lanyard for attaching to anchor points, providing a reliable fall arrest system. The shock absorber end connects to the fall arrest point on the harness. The scaffold hooks are rated to 20kN, and there are other hardware options available. Remember, don't remove the shock absorber cover as it protects the absorber from damage. Made of 100% Polamide and rated to 140 kg, it conforms to AS/NZS 1891.1:2007.

Using this lanyard is easy. First, attach the scaffold hooks to the appropriate anchor points. Make sure the shock - absorber end is connected to the fall - arrest point on your harness. When you're working at height, the elastic inner of the lanyard will help keep the slack in check, reducing the risk of tripping. In the event of a fall, the shock absorber will activate to absorb the energy. As for maintenance, keep the lanyard clean and dry. Don't expose it to harsh chemicals. Most importantly, never remove the shock absorber cover, as it's there to protect the absorber from damage.
