This single rope lanyard comes with a snaphook and a scaffold hook, perfect for hot - work activities such as grinding and metal cutting. Crafted from an Aramid rope with a polyamide core, it offers excellent resistance to flames, protecting against sparks and molten metal drops. It meets European quality standards. The lanyard includes a shock absorber covered with a protective fabric. In case of a fall, the shock absorber tears to absorb energy. It's a standard simple lanyard for attaching to anchor points, and the shock absorber end connects to the fall - arrest point on the harness. Both the snaphook and scaffhook have a rating of 20kN and can support up to 140 kg. Remember, don't remove the yellow cover as it shields the shock absorber from environmental damage. This lanyard conforms to AS/NZS 1891.1:2007.
How to use: First, attach the lanyard to a suitable anchor point using the snaphook or scaffold hook. Then, connect the shock - absorber end to the fall - arrest point on your harness.
