Product Detail

The Petzl GRILLON is a 3 - meter adjustable lanyard designed for work positioning. It features a fine - adjustment system that allows for precise positioning on the job. You can use this lanyard in two modes. In double mode, attach it to the harness lateral attachment points. This distributes the user's weight on the belt, and you can adjust the length by pressing on the pivoting cam. When in single mode, connect it to the harness ventral attachment point. This distributes the weight between the waistbelt and the leg loops when the user is suspended. To adjust the length in this mode, hold the free end of the lanyard and operate the handle. The lanyard comes with a removable protective sheath. This sheath safeguards the rope from abrasive contact and ensures smooth rope glide. You can remove the protection when using the single lanyard technique to get closer to the anchor. It weighs 525 grams and has a length of 3 meters.

Using the Petzl GRILLON lanyard is straightforward. First, decide which mode suits your work situation. For double mode, attach the lanyard to the harness lateral attachment points. This is great when you're standing and want to distribute the weight on your belt. To adjust the length, simply press on the pivoting cam. For single mode, connect it to the harness ventral attachment point. This is ideal when you're suspended. Hold the free end of the lanyard and operate the handle to change the length. When using the lanyard, always make sure the connections are secure. Check the lanyard regularly for any signs of wear and tear, especially the rope and the protective sheath. If the sheath is damaged, it's a good idea to replace it. To maintain the lanyard, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
