Product Detail

The Petzl Dual Canyoning Club Lanyard is a top - notch double lanyard crafted specifically for canyoning adventures. It's an incredibly user - friendly lanyard designed for groups. This lanyard enables smooth progression on a lifeline with intermediate anchors and easy positioning at an anchor. You can quickly attach it to the CANYON CLUB harness using a simple girth hitch. The plastic sheaths at the ends not only keep the carabiners in place but also protect the stitching from wear and tear. There's an individual identification marking on the plastic sheath, which helps you track the equipment throughout its life. It's a dynamic rope lanyard that reduces the force on the user during a short fall. However, remember that for use below the anchor point, these positioning lanyards lack an energy absorber and should only be used when the potential fall factor is less than 1. Made of nylon rope and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sheaths, it has arms that are 65 cm long and weighs just 130 g. It's certified by CE and UIAA 109.

Using the Petzl Dual Canyoning Club Lanyard is a breeze. First, attach it to your CANYON CLUB harness with a girth hitch. When you're on a canyoning adventure, use it to progress on a lifeline with intermediate anchors and position yourself at an anchor. Remember, this lanyard doesn't have an energy absorber, so only use it when the potential fall factor is less than 1. To take good care of it, after each use, check the nylon rope and TPU sheaths for any signs of damage. If there are any cuts, frays, or abrasions, stop using it immediately. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to extend its lifespan. And thanks to the individual identification marking on the plastic sheath, you can easily keep track of your lanyard's usage and condition over time.
