Product Detail

The large BuckLite Max II is an ideal hunting knife for every passionate hunter. Its full tang, ergonomic handle crafted from Dynaflex® rubber offers an outstanding grip, excellent performance, and is incredibly lightweight. The drop point blade has undergone a tumbling finish, reducing porosity and enhancing corrosion resistance. With Buck's advanced Edge2x blade technology, this knife comes out of the box insanely sharp. It also comes with a heavy - duty, black polyester sheath for easy carrying. Specifications: Blade Shape - Drop Point, Blade Thickness - 0.279cm, Blade Length - 10.2 cm, Weight - 133.2 g, Handle - DYNAFLEX® RUBBER, Carry System - Sheath. The 420HC Steel used in this knife is Buck's standard blade material. It combines the wear resistance of high - carbon alloys with the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Thanks to Buck's exclusive heat - treat process, it offers superior corrosion resistance, excellent strength for wear resistance, and durability. Plus, it's easy to resharpen. For the best performance, it's hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

Using your Buck 685 BuckLite Max II hunting knife is straightforward. Hold the Dynaflex® rubber handle firmly for a great grip when cutting or skinning. The sheath is designed for easy carrying, so you can attach it to your belt or gear. When using the knife, always cut away from your body to avoid accidents. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the blade with a dry cloth. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly to prevent corrosion. You can also apply a thin layer of oil to the blade to enhance its corrosion resistance. When the blade starts to dull, use a sharpening stone to restore its sharpness. Keep the knife out of reach of children and store it in a safe place when not in use.
