This Back Country cuisine offers freeze - dried lamb and pineapple in a zesty sauce along with vegetables. It's gluten - free! The ingredients include white rice, a sauce made with sugar, thickener, vegetables, acidity regulators, maltodextrin, hydrolysed vegetable protein, yeast extract, salt, herbs, spices, flavours, canola oil and vegetable extract. The lamb dices (18%) are seasoned with soy protein concentrate, salt, brown sugar, mineral salts, coriander, mint, pepper and rosemary extract. Pineapple is sweetened and preserved, while carrots and peas have added acidity regulators. This product contains soybeans and sulphites, and is processed in a facility that also makes products with crustacea, egg, fish, milk, tree nuts and sesame seeds. Note that the photo only shows the product, not the serving size. There are three options: Small (1 serve, net weight 90 g, add 250 ml water, serving size 340 g), Regular (1 serve, net weight 175 g, add 500 ml water, serving size 675 g), and Family (5 serves, net weight 440 g, add boiling water, serving size 338 g).
Using this Back Country sweet and sour lamb is super easy. For the small serving, just add 250 ml of water. If you have the regular one, pour in 500 ml of water. And for the family - sized pack, add boiling water. Keep in mind that the photo is just an example and doesn't show the actual serving size. Since it's processed in a facility with other common allergens like crustacea, egg, fish, milk, tree nuts and sesame seeds, those with allergies should be careful. There's no special maintenance needed. Just store it in a cool, dry place until you're ready to enjoy this delicious gluten - free meal.
