Topeak TetraRack M2 Rear

The Topeak TetraRack M2 Rear is an outstanding quick - mount rear rack system. It's a great fit for MTB full suspension seatstays or hardtail MTBs without rack eyelets. This universal rear rack comes with an innovative top plate that can adjust to a level position regardless of the seatstay angle. The integrated QuickTrack® system enables Topeak TrunkBags to slide into place, lock securely, and be released with just a push of a button. Its unique hook and loop strap mounting system tightens down firmly to keep your load stable and allows for installation on a wide variety of bikes. It's also compatible with KLICKfix® / RackTime® Snapit or Vario system bags. Note that the TetraRack isn't suitable for carbon forks and seat stays, and the TetraRack series racks don't work with front or rear mounted V - Brake type systems. With strut slot adjustments, the rack top plate can stay level no matter the seatstay angle. Adjustable straps with padded feet securely fasten the rack to the seat stays. It's compatible with Topeak QuickTrack® system bags and KLICKfix® / RackTime® Snapit or Vario system bags. There's a clamp for a rear reflector and a tail light mount. The TetraRack has a mounting length of 200mm. Seatstays and front forks should be free of obstacles for secure mounting. The seatstay diameter must be over 15mm, and it's not advisable to mount it on carbon frames. It fits seatstays with a width between 95 - 125mm. Just make sure not to exceed the maximum weight capacity of 12kg / 26lb. Attach it to seatstays using hook and loop straps. Adjust it via strut slots. Made from aluminum, engineering - grade polymer, and nylon straps. Compatible with Topeak MTX / RX TrunkBags and other mentioned system bags. Max load is 12 kg / 26 lb. Size is 42 x 33.2 x 14.5 cm / 16.5” x 13.1” x 5.7”, and it weighs 960 g / 2.12 lb.

Using the Topeak TetraRack M2 Rear is a breeze. First, make sure your bike's seatstays have a diameter larger than 15mm and a width between 95 - 125mm. Also, check that there are no obstacles on the seatstays and front forks. Then, use the hook and loop straps to attach the rack to the seatstays. Adjust the rack using the strut slots so that the top plate is level. You can easily attach Topeak TrunkBags or other compatible bags. Just slide them onto the QuickTrack® system and lock them in place with a button press. When it comes to the rear reflector, use the provided clamp to attach it. As for the tail light, you can mount it using the tail light mount. Important things to note: Don't use this rack on carbon forks, seat stays, or carbon frames. Also, don't exceed the maximum weight capacity of 12kg / 26lb. And remember, it won't work with front or rear mounted V - Brake type systems. For maintenance, keep it clean by wiping it down regularly. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly to prevent rust, especially on the aluminum parts. Check the straps and connections from time to time to make sure they're secure.
