The Teca windbreaker is an incredibly packable and weather-resistant layer, perfect for windy ridge hikes, breezy bike rides, and minimalist travels. This season, we've refined the design, offering separate men's and women's versions for a better fit. The fabric has been upgraded for a smooth feel against the skin, and a zip pocket has been added to enhance comfort during movement. Features include repurposed polyester taffeta and ripstop woven fabric, elastic bindings at the hood, cuffs, and hem, a back panel vent, a kangaroo hand pocket with an internal stash pocket, and it packs neatly into the front zip pocket. It's both wind and water-resistant. The shell is made of repurposed polyester taffeta with a DWR finish and a 600 mm PU backer, and the second shell is repurposed polyester ripstop with the same DWR finish and 600 mm PU backer.
Using your Cotopaxi Teca windbreaker is easy. Just zip it up and you're ready to face the elements on your hikes, bike rides, or travels. The elastic bindings at the hood, cuffs, and hem help keep the wind out. The kangaroo hand pocket is great for keeping your hands warm or storing small items, and the internal stash pocket is perfect for things like keys or cards. When you're done using it, simply pack it into the front zip pocket for easy storage. As for care, it's best to follow the washing instructions on the label. Usually, a gentle machine wash in cold water and air drying will keep it in good condition. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach as they can damage the fabric and the DWR finish. Also, don't iron it at high temperatures as it may affect the fabric's properties.
