The Peak Design Dual Plate is a versatile accessory that enables you to detach your camera from the Capture (sold separately) and directly attach it to most Manfrotto RC2 tripod heads. As its name implies, it also functions with most Arca-type tripod heads. It fits into the Capture in two directions and comes with two loops for Peak Design Anchors. With a durable machined and anodized construction, it offers 2-way Capture compatibility. A new connection screw slot provides more positioning choices, preventing any interference with lenses, screens, or battery compartments. Note that the dual plate blocks the battery door on Fujifilm X-T series cameras. Key features include compatibility with Manfrotto RC2 and Arca tripods (check pkdsn.com/tripod for a detailed compatibility list), 2-way Capture insertion, working with PD straps via the two loops, fitting any camera with a standard 1/4”-20 tripod mount, an adjustable footprint to avoid interference, and an anti-twist pad for a superior grip on heavy pro rigs. Specifications are as follows: dimensions of 5.2cm x 4.2cm x 1.1cm, made of CNC-machined aluminum with a black anodized finish and an injection molded PVC pad, and weighing 28g.

Using the Peak Design Dual Plate is easy. First, if you have the Capture, insert the dual plate into it in either of the two available directions. Then, connect your camera with a standard 1/4”-20 tripod mount to the plate. You can adjust the position of the plate using the connection screw slot to avoid any interference with your camera's lenses, screens, or battery compartments. When using a tripod, you can attach the plate to most Manfrotto RC2 or Arca-type tripod heads. Remember, if you have a Fujifilm X-T series camera, the dual plate will block the battery door. For maintenance, keep the plate clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it down. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the anodized finish. Also, make sure the anti-twist pad remains in good condition for a proper grip on your camera.
