Using the Peak Design Dual Plate is easy. First, if you have the Capture, insert the dual plate into it in either of the two available directions. Then, connect your camera with a standard 1/4”-20 tripod mount to the plate. You can adjust the position of the plate using the connection screw slot to avoid any interference with your camera's lenses, screens, or battery compartments. When using a tripod, you can attach the plate to most Manfrotto RC2 or Arca-type tripod heads. Remember, if you have a Fujifilm X-T series camera, the dual plate will block the battery door. For maintenance, keep the plate clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it down. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the anodized finish.
