Using the Thermarest Permanent Home Repair Kit is easy. First, clean the area you want to repair with the alcohol prep patches to ensure a good bond. Then, take the applicator and apply the 7g adhesive evenly on the damaged spot. Place the appropriate patch (colored or clear) over the adhesive and press firmly. Make sure there are no air bubbles. Now, let it cure for 4 hours. Don't touch or use the mattress during this time. When it comes to maintenance, keep the kit in a cool and dry place. If the adhesive starts to dry up, it won't work as well. Also, check the patches regularly to see if they are still in good condition. If you notice any issues, it might be time to get a new kit.
