The storm-proof Sprinter 500 Headlamp is an ultra-thin and well-balanced headlamp that can be recharged via USB. It's specially designed for night running, allowing you to keep going even when the sun sets. On its highest setting, it boasts a 500-lumen output, nearly double that of previous versions. The single front lens emits a smooth universal beam, reducing hot spots and getting rid of harsh transitions on the trail. For maximum flexibility, it can run on either the included rechargeable BD 1800 Lithium-ion battery or three AAA alkaline batteries. Other great features include a perforated elastic headband for breathability. You can easily remove or add the top band according to your preference. Using the Black Diamond Sprinter Headlamp is easy. First, insert the batteries. You can choose the included rechargeable BD 1800 Lithium-ion battery or three AAA alkaline batteries. To turn on the headlamp, use the power button. You can adjust the brightness using the PowerTap™ technology while in use. When you're in urban areas, turn on the red taillight strobe for better visibility. It has a programmable on/off feature. The perforated elastic headband is comfortable to wear. You can remove or add the top band as you like. To recharge the battery, connect the micro-USB port on the rear battery compartment to a power source. As for maintenance, keep the headlamp dry. Since it's IPX4 rated, it can handle some rain and sleet, but don't submerge it in water. When not in use, activate the digital lockout feature to prevent accidental use, especially when you store it in a pack or pocket.
