Product Detail

These Aku Alterra Lite GTX hiking shoes are a great choice for dynamic activities on medium - difficulty terrain. They're lightweight, highly versatile, and extremely breathable. The upper part has a two - layer structure. The outer layer is made of suede, with independent elements that wrap around the foot in an anatomical way. The inner layer is an air mesh with overlapping flaps that follow the foot's shape. There are two types of Gore - Tex® lining. An elastic one for the instep area and a more protective one for the rest. The sole and upper feature an asymmetrical design with the exclusive AKU Elica Natural Stride System technology. This ensures optimal load distribution on the sole and an improved rolling mechanism. The AKU tread with the special Tenuta compound provides excellent grip. Upper: Suede + AIR8000®; Upper Protection: Rubber; Lining: Gore - Tex® Extended Comfort; Outsole: AKU Alterra Lite Grip; Midsole: EVA; Lasting Insole (Rigidity): 2.0 mm Polypropylene + Microporous EVA (Flexible); Footbed: Ortholite® Hybrid Partially Recycled; Men's Weight (Gr. ½ Pair): 420; Men's Sizes (UK): 7 - 13.

Using these hiking shoes is straightforward. Just put them on like you would any other shoe. When you're out on the medium - difficulty terrain, they'll offer great support and grip. For better performance, make sure your feet are clean and dry before wearing. When it comes to maintenance, after each hike, remove any dirt or mud. You can use a soft brush to clean the suede upper gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the Gore - Tex® lining. Let the shoes dry naturally in a well - ventilated area. Don't expose them to direct sunlight or heat sources, as this can cause the materials to warp. Also, store them in a cool, dry place when not in use. If you notice any damage, like a tear in the upper or a worn - out sole, it's a good idea to get them repaired or replaced.
