Product Detail

The Ass Savers Toetector Mudguard - Reflective Special Edition is here to safeguard your feet! This mudguard comes with a reflective print, which significantly boosts your visibility during night rides. It can protect your feet from water spray and is made from 80% recycled PolyPropylene, an eco - friendly choice. Measuring 86 mm x 187 mm and weighing only 9 grams, it's lightweight and easy to handle. It fits all standard curved - shaped full mudguards, especially metal ones like aluminum or steel. You can mount it using a zip - tie or screws. Just drill two holes 25 mm apart along the mudguard's centerline, and you're good to go. Optional mounting with nuts and bolts is also possible (not included). Prefolding the mudguard makes it more stable and damage - resistant. It provides extra protection for your toes and drivetrain when attached to your full - wrapping mudguard.

Using your Ass Savers Toetector Mudguard is easy. First, decide where you want to place it on your mudguard. The closer it is to the ground, the better the protection, but be careful not to let it get caught on curbs or uneven ground. You'll need to drill two holes 25 mm apart along the centerline of the mudguard. Use a sharp pin to mark the spots to keep the drill from wandering. Drill the holes with a 5 mm drill and then clean the edges with a 10 mm drill by hand. Place the mudguard on the inside of the mudflap and thread a zip - tie from the outside through the upper hole of the mudguard and mudflap, then back through the lower hole and close it. Pull it tight so it fits firmly. If there's enough space between the tire and mudguard, you can thread the zip - tie from the inside to hide the head for a neater look. You can also use nuts and bolts with washers for a more permanent attachment. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made from recycled plastic, it's quite durable. Just give it a quick clean with mild soap and water if it gets dirty. Remember to check the mounting regularly to make sure it's still secure, especially after long rides or on rough terrain.
