Product Detail

The Ass Savers Reflective Special Edition Mudguard is a must - have for cyclists. It effectively cuts down on rearward spray, keeping your cycling companions clean. The eye - catching reflective print not only looks cool but also enhances your safety during those dark winter rides. This mudguard is highly versatile as it fits all standard curved full mudguards, especially metal ones like aluminum or steel. Installation is a breeze; you can use a zip - tie or opt for nuts and bolts (not included). Made from 80% recycled polypropylene, it's eco - friendly too. Measuring 86 mm x 380 mm and weighing just 21 grams, it's lightweight yet durable. Prefolding the mudguard as directed makes it more stable and resistant to ground interference, offering better protection.

Using your Ass Savers Reflective Special Edition Mudguard is easy. First, you'll need to drill two holes in your mudguard. Hold the mudflap in place to decide the height. Remember, the closer it is to the ground, the better the protection, but be careful not to let it catch on curbs or uneven ground. The holes should be on the centerline of the mudguard, 25 mm apart. Use a sharp pin to mark the drilling spots so the drill doesn't wander. Drill the holes with a 5 mm drill, and you can clean the edges with a 10 mm drill by hand. Place the mudflap inside the mudguard. Thread the zip - tie from the outside through the upper hole of both the mudguard and the mudflap, then back through the lower hole and close it. Pull the mudflap tight against the mudguard for a firm fit. If there's enough space between the tire and mudguard, you can thread the zip - tie from the inside for a sleeker look. You can also use nuts and bolts with washers for a more permanent attachment. When it comes to maintenance, just give it a regular clean with mild soap and water. Check the zip - tie or bolts regularly to make sure they're tight, and if you notice any signs of wear, it might be time to replace it.
