Product Detail

The Singing Rock Indy Evo Plus is a manually operated descender device featuring a double auto - locking system. This amazing device enables you to descend at a well - controlled speed and stop whenever you want. It can be used with both static (EN 1891) and dynamic (EN 892) ropes. With a suitable rope, it even allows you to lower two people simultaneously. The double auto - locking system works in two ways: it locks when you release the lever or when you press it. It's an ideal choice for high - altitude work and emergency self - evacuation. For rescue situations according to EN 341, use it with an 11 - mm diameter static rope (allowed load 150 kg). For working situations under EN 12841, you can use a static or dynamic rope. A 10 - 12 mm diameter rope is for one - person lowering (max. load 100 kg), and an 11 - 12 mm diameter rope is for two - person lowering (max. load 200 kg). For working situations according to NFPA - L, use a 10 - 13 mm diameter static rope for one - person lowering. It comes in a sleek black color and weighs only 480 g.

Using the Singing Rock Indy Evo Plus is easy. First, make sure you've chosen the right rope according to the situation - rescue, work, etc. and the number of people being lowered. Connect the descender to the rope properly. When you start descending, use the lever to control your speed. You can stop at any time by either releasing or pressing the lever. Remember, for rescue work as per EN 341, use an 11 - mm static rope and don't exceed 150 kg. For work under EN 12841, follow the rope diameter and load limits for one or two - person lowering. In NFPA - L work situations, use a 10 - 13 mm static rope for one - person lowering. After each use, inspect the descender for any signs of wear or damage. Keep it clean and dry, and store it in a cool place. If you notice any issues, don't use it and get it checked by a professional.
