Using the Ledlenser HF8R Signature headlamp is a breeze. First, attach the headlamp to the universal mounting bracket and put it on your head. The silicone comfort pad will make it more comfortable. You can use the connect adapter to easily take the headlamp off the bracket and adjust the light angle by hand, tilting it up to 45 degrees for the best light.
To control the headlamp, you can use the buttons on the headlamp itself or connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth using the Ledlenser Connect App. This app lets you customize the light settings just the way you like.
When it comes to the light modes, you have plenty of options. The Adaptive Light Beam technology will automatically adjust the light as you move between different tasks. There are also 6 light functions including boost, high, mid, low power, SOS, and strobe. Use the SOS and strobe modes for signaling in an emergency.
For charging, use the magnetic charging cable (USB - C) included in the box. It will take about 4.5 hours to fully recharge the rechargeable Li - ion battery. You can check the battery status through the battery and charge indicators on the headlamp.
