Product Detail

The DD SuperLight Tarp S is an incredibly light rain shelter, weighing just 260g. Its compact size lets it fit easily into a jacket pocket. This versatile tarp has multiple uses! It's perfect for ground bivi camping, providing ample shelter for one person and their gear. It also serves as an excellent day shelter or ground sheet. You can quickly set it up for lunch breaks or rest stops during your trail adventures. Ideal for extreme and adventure sports like cycling, climbing, or trail running, it keeps you dry during breaks while minimizing your pack weight. Due to its size, it's not recommended as a hammock shelter. For hammocks, choose our regular - sized DD Superlight Tarp. All DD tarps are 100% waterproof, even in heavy storms. It measures 2.8m x 1.5m, comes in olive green, and weighs 260g (excluding pegs and guy lines). The package includes a SuperLight Tarp S, 4 SuperLight pegs and guy lines, and a stuff sack. There are 19 tough reinforced attachment points: 16 around the sides and corners, and 3 along the center (ridge line). The 4 SuperLight pegs and guy lines come in their own bag. It's made from ripstop nylon with a 3,000mm PU waterproof coating and has a taped central seam. The stuff sack has a drawcord closure. Recommended accessories are DD Cord for the ridge line, 6 sets of DD SuperLight pegs and guy lines for more setup options, and Ridge Line Loks.

Using your DD SuperLight Tarp S is a breeze. For ground bivi camping, find a flat spot and use the included pegs and guy lines to secure it. You can set it up as a day shelter by suspending it between trees with the DD Cord or using the pegs on the ground. For rest stops during your adventures, quickly lay it out as a ground sheet. When using it, remember it's not suitable as a hammock shelter due to its size. To keep it in good condition, make sure it's dry before packing it away in the stuff sack. If it gets dirty, you can gently hand - wash it with mild soap and let it air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the ripstop nylon or the waterproof coating.
