Product Detail

The SafetyLink TempLink 3000 is the ultimate, versatile and lightweight roof anchor. It's perfect for fitting through existing holes in metal sheet roofing. With a brand - new wire cable design, it's a favorite among roof workers. It needs 6 fixings, as detailed in the instructions, into a solid structure. The cable can be adjusted around angles, looped or bunched, but make sure no fixings are less than 100mm apart. This temporary roof anchoring device can be installed on metal or tile roofs. It's incredibly useful for anyone doing roof maintenance when there are no permanent safety anchors. It has an integral shock absorber. The patented design absorbs energy when a fall is stopped, reducing damage to the structure and personal injury risks. Remember, you still need standard fall - arrest PPE, including an inline shock absorber on your rope or lanyard. It's a multidirectional anchor. Since falls are unpredictable, the TempLink is designed and tested to work in all directions. It's easy to install and remove by a competent person after the job is done. It requires 6 roofing screws of size 14 - 10 hex head, placed at least 100mm apart in a solid structure. It's a one - person anchor rated for fall arrest. It comes with detailed and easy - to - read installation instructions. It's compact, portable and lightweight, and is supplied with a carry bag. It complies with Australian and New Zealand standards. Made of steel cable and stainless steel, it's rated to 15kN.

Using the SafetyLink TempLink 3000 is straightforward. First, make sure you have 6 roofing screws of size 14 - 10 hex head. Install the anchor into a solid structure, placing each screw at least 100mm apart as per the instructions. Adjust the cable around angles, loop or bunch it as needed for your work. When using it, always wear standard fall - arrest PPE, including an inline shock absorber on your rope or lanyard. Only a competent person should install and remove the anchor. After finishing your work on the roof, carefully take it down. As for maintenance, regularly check the steel cable and stainless - steel parts for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, don't use the anchor until it's been properly inspected and fixed. Keep it in a dry place when not in use, and it will serve you well for a long time.
