Product Detail

The Zero Rescue Descent Kit is a must - have for every high - altitude work team. With a weight rating of up to 200kg, it's built to handle the task of rescuing a single person. This evacuation and rescue unit allows you to safely lower someone from a height during an emergency. The Escape MK II device is designed solely for lowering and can be used when rescuing workers suspended in PPE equipment. It's incredibly easy to operate, providing a basic yet effective rescue solution when the victim is within reach. The MK II device comes as a complete set, including a controlled descent device, a 50 - meter 11mm escape rope, an anchor strap, a release knife, and a PVC storage pack. Additionally, this kit can serve as an effective temporary static line with self - rescue capabilities. Set it up between rated anchors, tension the rope through the MKII device, and workers can attach themselves via a lanyard or work positioning rope. In case of a fall, the rescuer can control the rope release to slowly lower the victim to the ground.

How to use: First, set up the kit between two suitably rated anchors. Attach the anchor strap to one anchor and the rope end or carabiner to the other. Pull the rope back through the MKII device to tension it, and coil any extra rope. Workers should attach themselves to the rope using a lanyard or work positioning rope. In an emergency, if a fall occurs, the rescuer can release the MKII device to control the release of extra rope and slowly lower the victim to the ground. Note that this kit is rated for one - person rescue only and should not exceed the 200kg weight limit. Maintenance: Keep the kit clean and dry. Check the rope regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Store the kit in the provided PVC storage pack when not in use to protect it from the elements.
