Product Detail

The Rock Exotica Kootenay Ultra Knot-passing pulley is a game-changer. First built by Rock Exotica in the late 80s, it's been imitated, but none have matched its design advancements. This pulley is extremely compact and lightweight, yet it has the same capacity as larger Kootenay-style pulleys. It simplifies high-strength tie-off with a single locking screw that can be stored inside the axle. It uses two independent sealed ball bearings, boosting durability and efficiency. There are two extra holes to keep tag lines and hoist lines separate, preventing load spinning and connector interference. Part Number: P3. MBS: 39kN. Working Load Limit: 6kN Single Line. Weight: 711gm. Rope Diameter: 8mm - 19mm. Sheave Diameter: 56mm. Sheave Type: Bearing x 2. Width: 104mm. Height: 218mm. Depth: 75mm. Certification: Pending CE. Check http://rockexotica.com/specsheets/P3-Kootenay.pdf for the full specsheet.

Using the Rock Exotica Kootenay knot - passing pulley is quite straightforward. First, select a rope with a diameter between 8mm and 19mm. Make sure to connect the rope to the pulley according to your hoisting or tag - line needs. The two extra holes are there to help you separate different lines, so use them to avoid the load from spinning. To do a high - strength tie - off, use the single locking screw and you can store it inside the axle when not in use. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the two independent sealed ball bearings. Although they're durable, a quick check every now and then to ensure they're in good working order is a good idea. When it comes to the certification, it's pending CE, so stay updated on that. Also, always make sure the working load doesn't exceed the 6kN single - line limit. If you need detailed technical information, refer to the full specsheet available at http://rockexotica.com/specsheets/P3 - Kootenay.pdf.
