Petzl Mini Prusik Pulley

The Petzl Mini Prusik Pulley is an incredibly lightweight yet powerful tool. This mini pulley can take on large loads, and its compact size allows it to be carried almost anywhere, even on your harness. It features special side plates crafted for use with a Prusik friction hitch in lightweight progress capture systems. The sheave, mounted on sealed ball bearings, offers outstanding efficiency. It's flat, compact, and lightweight. Made of aluminum side plates and an aluminum sheave, it's certified with CE EN 12278 and UIAA. With a weight of 80 g, it can handle ropes from 7 mm to 11 mm in diameter. The sheave has a diameter of 25 mm and an efficiency of 91%. The working load on one rope strand is 2.5 kN, the working load is 5 kN, and the breaking strength is 23 kN.

Using the Petzl Mini Prusik Pulley is easy. First, make sure the rope diameter is between 7 mm and 11 mm. Thread the rope through the pulley and use it in combination with a Prusik friction hitch in your progress capture system. When using it, keep an eye on the working load limits. The working load on one rope strand is 2.5 kN and the overall working load is 5 kN, don't exceed these limits. After each use, clean the pulley with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice any damage to the aluminum side plates or the sheave, stop using it immediately and replace it.
