Using your UCO Hyak Lantern + Flashlight is easy. First, insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment (batteries are not included). To turn it on, press the power button. You can cycle through the four lighting modes - low, medium, high, and strobe - by pressing the button repeatedly. For mounting, you can use the shock cord at the base to attach it to tent poles, branches, or guy lines. Or, use the can and bottle mount system to place it on top of a can or bottle. When not in use, collapse it to save space. Make sure to keep the lantern dry as it's water-resistant but not waterproof. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly before storing. Also, replace the batteries when the light starts to dim to ensure optimal performance.
