Product Detail

The GT Sit Harness is a game - changer in comfort for rope access professionals. It was developed based on the results of Camp's “SOSPESI” research on suspension trauma. The unique connection between the waist belt and leg loops offers great comfort whether you're hanging in suspension or standing on the ground. The padding has varying thickness and stiffness, giving just the right support and comfort to every part of your body. The patented ventral attachment comes with two loops. One is for connecting the chest harness and chest ascender, while the other is for attaching lanyards, carabiners, and other gear. The leg loops feature patented STS automatic buckles. There are 4 aluminum alloy attachment points: 1 ventral for suspension, 2 side for positioning, and 1 back. This harness is designed to be used with the GT Chest (ref.2166), which has two attachment points (one front and one back), creating a full - body fall arrest system. Weight: Size 1 – 1360 g, Size 2 – 1420 g. Sizes: Size 1 fits waist 80 - 120 cm and legs 50 - 65 cm; Size 2 fits waist 90 - 140 cm and legs 60 - 75 cm.

Using this harness is straightforward. First, select the right size according to your waist and leg measurements. Put on the harness, make sure the waist belt is snug but not too tight. Attach the leg loops using the patented STS automatic buckles. For the ventral attachment, use one loop to connect your chest harness and chest ascender, and the other for lanyards and carabiners. When using it in combination with the GT Chest, connect them at the designated attachment points. As for maintenance, regularly check the harness for any signs of wear and tear, like frayed straps or damaged buckles. Clean it with a mild soap and water, and let it air - dry. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and chemicals. If you notice any serious damage, don't use the harness and replace it immediately.
