These soft shackles offer a super - light alternative to traditional metal carabiners. While our aluminum carabiners are already among the lightest in the market, these amsteel shackles are incredibly light, weighing just under 4g for the regular size and 10g for the XL size - much lighter than their metal counterparts. They're ideal for hammock suspension setups and a wide range of other uses that call for a carabiner. Crafted from 2.5mm amsteel blue, they're extremely strong and can support anyone up to 125kg. The regular size is 9cm long when closed and 26cm when open, weighing 4g. The X - Large size measures 15cm long when closed and 35cm when open, with a weight of 10g. Note that only the first photo shows the XL soft shackle carabiners, and the rest show the regular size, but they function in the same way.

Using these soft shackle carabiners is easy. For hammock suspension, simply attach the shackle to the appropriate points on your hammock and the support structure. They can also be used in other scenarios where you'd typically use a carabiner, like in some DIY projects or for securing light - weight items. When it comes to maintenance, keep them clean and dry.
