Revelate Designs has upgraded the popular Mag-Tank™ to create a version that fits perfectly with the top tube bolt bosses on certain Salsa Cycles and Open Cycle models. The Mag-Tank™ offers a fresh take on top tube bags. Instead of a traditional zippered opening, it features a smartly shaped top flap held in place by a magnetic buckle with mechanical engagement. This means it won't accidentally open and spill your snacks, even if you end up in the trees with your bike upside down, unlike regular magnetic closures. You can easily open the bag with one hand by pulling on the cord loop, giving you access to the entire top of the bag. Closing is a breeze - just flick the flap down and the buckle self - engages! Compared to the standard Gas Tank, the Mag - Tank™ is slightly smaller to avoid your legs hitting the edge of the flap opening. Note that while the bag's cover can shed rain and spray, it's not a sealed or waterproof bag due to its large panel opening. Features include two sets of mounting holes on the bag bottom for bolt - on attachment to the top tube. The first set is spaced at 76 mm (+/- 2 mm) off - center from the head tube, and the second set is at 100 mm (+/- 2 mm) off - center. The distance between the mounting holes is the standard water bottle cage spacing of 64 mm. The bag bottom is padded and secured with Velcro to hide the mounting bolts. It allows one - handed access while riding. The side panels are stiffened with HDPE plastic sheets, and the interior is lined with yellow fabric for better visibility. There's also an adjustable height daisy chain front attachment with a spacer block to clear the stem clamp bolts. Sizing details are as follows: Length: 21 cm, Max height: 12.5 cm, Width at stem: 6 cm, and it tapers down to 6 cm tall and 4 cm wide along the top tube. Remember, mounting bolts are not included, and longer bolts might be needed for the Salsa Cutthroat during test fitting.
