The Mag - Tank™ 2000 takes the proven zipper - free magnetic access of the original Mag - Tank™ and ups the ante with a 50% capacity boost. Now, it can be easily bolted onto your bike's top tube using the available bolt bosses. Named for its calorie - holding capacity, the Mag - Tank 2000 has a tapered wedge shape. This shape gives it a large volume inside while maintaining a sleek profile at the base. A locking cam ensures a secure front attachment, and the adjustable daisy chain lets you clear stem clamp bolts. The bag comes with a closed - cell foam padded base and stiffened side panels. These protect your food and electronics and make it easy to access them with one hand. In Spring 2024, a new TPU liner, made from the same material as hydration bladders, was added. You can easily remove the liner with Velcro for cleaning after your ride. No more sticky food messes! Just pure convenience. Note that the bag's cover can shed rain and spray, but it's not a sealed or waterproof bag due to the large panel opening. Also, because of the flap - style opening, small or loose items might fall out on rough trails or if the bike is laid on its side. We suggest putting small items like keys and gummy bears in a ziplock. Features include single - handed access with an easy magnetic closure, two sets of mounting holes on the bag bottom for bolt - on attachment to the top tube (first set 76mm (+/- 2mm) off - center from the head tube, second set 100mm (+/- 2mm) off - center, and 64mm between holes, the standard water bottle cage spacing), a Velcro - secured padded bottom to hide mounting bolts, side panels stiffened with HDPE plastic sheets, a yellow - lined interior for better visibility, and an adjustable height daisy chain front attachment with a spacer block to clear stem clamp bolts. Sizing details are length 21cm, max height 11cm, and width at the stem 11cm tapering down to 4cm. The bag weighs 150g, has a volume of 1.4L, and is made of Dimension Polyant VX - 21 with abrasion - resistant finish, 42 X - Pac, 420 denier yellow and red lining, closed - cell foam padded tube sections, HDPE sheets, and nickel - plated grommets. Mounting bolts are not included, and you may need longer bolts for some bikes.

Using the Mag - Tank 2000 is a breeze. First, decide which set of mounting holes on the bag bottom suits your bike's top tube bolt bosses best. Attach the bag to your bike using the appropriate bolts (you'll need to provide them). The adjustable daisy chain and spacer block help you clear the stem clamp bolts during installation. To access your items, just use one hand to open the magnetic closure. It's quick and easy. When you're done riding, detach the TPU liner with Velcro and clean it to avoid sticky messes. Be aware that this bag isn't waterproof, so if it's raining heavily, try to protect your items inside. Also, since the flap - style opening means small items can fall out, put loose keys, gummy bears, or other small things in a ziplock before putting them in the bag. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the magnetic closure to make sure it's working properly. If the bag gets dirty, wipe it down with a damp cloth. The yellow interior lining makes it easy to spot your items, but you can also give it a quick clean if needed. That's all there is to it - enjoy your rides with the convenient Mag - Tank 2000!
