Using the Fidlock Vacuum Ahead Mount is easy. First, screw the special ahead cap onto the head tube of your bike. Then, place the base on the cap and secure it with either the knurled screw or the Allen screw for extra security. Put the provided ultra - thin smartphone case on your phone. To attach your phone to the mount, use the magnetic guidance to position it correctly. The vacuum force will lock it in place. You can rotate your phone 360° for the best viewing angle, but the ratchet will keep it stable during your ride. When you want to remove your phone, just press the lever on the side of the phone base. Note that this mount is designed for 1 1/8” threadless headsets. Also, make sure the surface where you're attaching the mount is clean and dry for the best suction. For maintenance, regularly clean the suction cup and the magnetic parts with a soft, dry cloth.
