Product Detail

The ToeTector front mudflap is a game - changer for your feet! It's super lightweight, weighing just 9 grams, and crafted from 80% recycled PolyPropylene. This mudflap is designed to protect your feet from spray and offers extra protection for your toes and drivetrain. It fits all standard front mudguards, especially those with a curved shape. Metal mudguards made of aluminum or steel are ideal as they're easier to drill into compared to some plastic ones. You can mount it using a zip - tie or screws (nuts and bolts are optional but not included). Measuring 86 mm x 187 mm, it's a great addition for winter commuting or to keep your feet dry. Like all Ass Savers products, prefolding is important. The center fold adds stability, and the backwards 'smiley - fold' boosts protection and durability against ground interference. Mounting is a breeze. Drill two holes along the mudguard's centerline, 25 mm apart. Use a 5 mm drill and clean the edges with a 10 mm drill by hand. Place the mudflap inside the mudguard, thread the zip - tie through the holes, and make sure it's firmly attached. If there's enough space, thread the zip - tie from the inside for a sleeker look. You can also use nuts and bolts for a more permanent fix.

Using your ToeTector front mudflap is easy. First, choose a standard front mudguard, preferably a metal one. Decide on the height you want the mudflap to be mounted at. The closer it is to the ground, the better the protection, but be careful not to let it catch on curbs or uneven ground. Drill two holes along the centerline of the mudguard, 25 mm apart. Use a 5 mm drill, and to make sure the holes are in the right place, use a sharp pin to make a dent at the drilling spot. After drilling, clean the sharp edges of the holes by turning a 10 mm drill by hand. Place the mudflap on the inside of the mudguard. Thread the zip - tie from the outside through the upper hole of the mudguard and mudflap, then back through the lower hole and close it. Pull the mudflap tightly against the mudguard for a firm fit. If there's enough space between the tire and mudguard, thread the zip - tie from the inside to hide the zip - tie head. As for maintenance, since it's made from recycled plastic, it's quite durable. But if it gets dirty, just wash it with mild soap and water. Also, remember the importance of prefolding the mudflap as it makes it more stable and protective. Check the zip - tie or bolts regularly to ensure they're still tight and secure.
